Trade-friendly operator Typically Holidays has appointed homeworker Ian Robinson to the new position of Agency Sales Rep North West.

Ian will officially start next week, when he will be visiting shops in the region to tell them about Typically’s soon-to-launch 2024 programme.

Managing Director Daniele Broccoli said: “Ian came highly recommended, has a great personality and knows the travel industry. He fits in well with the Typically Holidays team.”

Ian’s appointment coincides with the retirement of Sales Support Manager Tony Byrne at the beginning of this month.

Travel Gossip reported in September that Daniele’s future son-in-law Sean Pratt has joined the family business and will be covering most of Tony’s patch.

Business Development Manager Mariam Sajjad will continue to represent the south region.

“We’re trade friendly and want to visit as many agents as possible, which is why we have increased the sales team, with Ian covering the north west on a part-time basis, freeing Sean up to concentrate on the rest of the north,” Daniele added.
