Former Fred.\ River Cruises Head of Sales David Chidley has joined Hurtigruten’s UK sales team as an Account Manager.
David has previously owned his own cruise agency, GoCruise and Travel with David Chidley, and he has held sales roles with Uniworld and Royal Caribbean.
He joins Hurtigruten on 13 May from Engage Health Group, where he is International Business Development Manager.
Hurtigruten VP UK Sales and Marketing Iain Powell said: “Our relationships with trade partners are integral to our success, and through the knowledge and experience of David, we can take our dedication and service to partners to new heights.”
David added:“The cruise industry is a highly competitive space, and I’m raring to take on the challenge and use my skills and expertise to help Hurtigruten stand out amongst the trade.”
His appointment follows recent promotions for Carla Hines, Head of Sales for EMEA, and James Howlett to Head of Sales UK.
