Charlie Orr has been named Inside Travel Group’s new Business Development Manager.
Charlie rejoins the cultural adventure specialist after leaving during the pandemic, when he was furloughed and then took a job outside of travel.
He replaces Peter Green, who joined Inside Travel as BDM in May, but left in June.
Charlie said: “Having been a travel consultant with InsideJapan, I not only have first-hand experience of what we do, I understand the world class level of passion, expertise and customer service that Inside Travel has and provides to each client and trade partner.
“I couldn’t wait to get back into the travel industry and the draw of Inside Travel with InsideJapan and InsideAsia was too good to resist. I cannot wait to get out there to support our agent partners and their clients in getting the best cultural adventures into Asia.”
Head of Trade Gabo Quiros said, “We have got ourselves an excellent BDM in Charlie and I have no doubt that our agent partners will not only enjoy his company, but they will get a lot of value from him.
“Our aim is to give agents everything they need to make that sale which is why Charlie has been appointed to join fellow BDM, Holly Brown and our growing trade-focused team.”
Inside Travel’s InsideJapan brand recently launched its full programme of Small Group Tours for 2025, whilst InsideAsia has continued to see growing demand for its cultural adventures across South Korea as well as travel to Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos as standalone destinations.
