Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have expanded their programmes for summer 2024, adding more capacity from late September to early November in response to demand for holidays later in the season.
Almost 70,000 seats have been added to destinations in mainland Spain, the Canary Islands, the Balearics, Portugal, Turkey, Croatia, and Greece.
Capacity has been expanded at eight UK airports – Belfast International, Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle.
From Birmingham, more flights have been added on eight routes: Palma, Menorca, Kalamata, Dubrovnik, Ibiza, Heraklion, Antalya and Rhodes, while additional services from East Midlands have been added to seven routes: Reus, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Zante, Menorca, Palma and Tenerife.
Capacity from Manchester has been boosted to nine destinations: Halkidiki, Costa de Almeria, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Ibiza, Kalamata, Reus, Zante and Gran Canaria; additional services from Newcastle have been added to Ibiza, Reus, Palma, Zante, Menorca and Fuerteventura, while five routes have been expanded at Leeds Bradford: Ibiza, Zante, Reus, Tenerife and Girona.
In Scotland, additional seats have been added on 10 routes from Edinburgh, including Spain, the Greek islands and Dubrovnik, while capacity has been added to 14 routes from Glasgow, including Menorca, Tenerife, Bodrum and Crete.
More flights have been added from Belfast International to Ibiza, Tenerife, Reus and Lanzarote.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays CEO Steve Heapy said: “We are seeing strong and sustained demand for summer ’24 across the board, with the late summer season proving very popular.
“We have reacted quickly to that demand by adding extra capacity from September through to November.”
