Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have extended their early and late summer programmes for 2025.
An additional 35,000 seats on Jet2 have been added to eight destinations.
The extra capacity also means that, less than a month after the airline’s first flight from Liverpool, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have brought forward the start of their summer 2025 programmes to Malaga (pictured), Majorca and Dalaman from Liverpool John Lennon Airport. The routes will now depart in March 2025.
The airline’s Malaga service from Liverpool has been brought forward by a month, with flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Jet2’s Liverpool to Majorca flights, on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays, will also start a month earlier, at the beginning of March.
Jet2’s Costa de Almeria programme from Birmingham and Manchester will start from 12 April, in time for Easter, while its Split programme from Birmingham and Manchester has been brought forward to start from 17 April.
Earlier flights will go on sale to Dalaman, from Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool John Lennon, Manchester, Newcastle International and London Stansted, with services now staring on 14 March.
Jet2 and Jet2holidays’ late summer seasons have also been extended, with Manchester and Stansted services to Lesvos and Birmingham, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Stansted services to Skiathos now operating until 12 October.
Finally, the Dubrovnik programme from Birmingham and Manchester has been extended to 8 November.
CEO Steve Heapy said: “As well as booking their place in the sunshine for Summer 24, we are seeing lots of demand from customers who are looking even further ahead to 2025. As ever, we have responded to that demand by adding more flights and holidays so that customers and independent travel agents have fantastic choice when it comes to booking their favourites. The announcement extends the summer season across a number of incredible destinations in Spain, Turkey, Greece and Croatia and we know this will be very popular.”
He added: “This is more positive news for our new Liverpool John Lennon operation too. We are continuing to enjoy a fantastic reaction to our launch, and this expansion represents even more good news for customers and independent travel agents across Liverpool, Merseyside and the wider region.”
