Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have launched their ‘biggest ever’ programme of winter city breaks for 2025-6, including a new route from Manchester to Porto.
The expanded programme means 700,000 seats are on sale to city destinations next winter.
Flights and city breaks are available to nine other cities: Athens, Barcelona, Budapest, Krakow, Paris, Prague, Rome, Vienna and Venice, from eight UK airports
The Manchester flights to Porto will operate twice a week during November 2025, then will restart in mid-February 2026.
CEO Steve Heapy said: “While there is a lot of demand for this winter, we know that people are looking further ahead as well.
“That is why we have delivered what our customers and independent travel agency partners want and put our biggest Winter City Breaks programme on sale today for 25/26.
“The expanded programme includes a brand-new winter route from Manchester to Porto, as well as a fantastic collection of other city break destinations, meaning it has never been so easy for holidaymakers to explore the best European cities.
“Despite announcing a huge programme for Winter 25/26 City Breaks we are not done yet, and we will be announcing more exciting news about our Christmas Markets programme for next year very soon.”
From Birmingham, Jet2 will operate flights to eight destinations: Athens, Barcelona, Budapest, Rome, Krakow, Prague, Venice and Vienna.
Flights to Krakov and Prague will operate from East Midlands, while flights from Edinburgh will operate to Rome and Prague. Three routes will operate from Glasgow Airport, to Rome, Krakow and Prague.
There are six city break destinations on sale from Leeds Bradford, to Barcelona, Budapest, Paris, Rome, Krakow and Prague; two from Stansted, to Athens and Rome; and three from Newcastle, to Rome, Krakow and Prague.
All the above flights will operate twice a week.
From Manchester, there are nine city destinations on sale, including the new Porto route, plus two flights a week to Vienna and Venice. The other routes from Manchester, to Athens, Barcelona, Budapest, Rome, Krakow and Prague, will operate four times a week.
A three-night Jet2CityBreaks package to Porto, staying at the five-star Portobay Flores on 6 November 2025, costs £629 per person, including breakfast.
