Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have revealed their most popular destinations from Bournemouth, a month after flights and packages from the airport went on sale.

Jet2 said it’s seen ‘strong and sustained demand’ since its Bournemouth 2025 programme went on sale last month. Its inaugural flight from the airport will depart to Tenerife on 1 April 2025, and two aircraft will be based at Bournemouth next year.

The top five performing destinations from Bournemouth Airport are Antalya, Tenerife, Dalaman, Majorca and Rhodes, although Jet2 said sales are strong to all 16 summer destinations, including through independent travel agents.

In their first summer of operations from Bournemouth, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate up to 27 weekly flights, to the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Turkey, Greece, mainland Spain, Portugal and Madeira. Two destinations, Fuerteventura and Madeira, are exclusive from Bournemouth Airport.

CEO Steve Heapy said the response has been ‘truly phenomenal’. He said: “We know that customers and independent travel agents had been waiting keenly for us to make this move, and the reaction to the launch has reflected this.”

“We are delighted at how well the launch has been received. Customers and independent travel agents are clearly relishing the chance to book our flights and holidays.”

He added: “Since launching one month ago today, we saw an immediate surge in bookings from Bournemouth Airport, and that demand shows no sign of slowing down. Between now and 1 April 2025, when our first flight departs from Bournemouth Airport, we are focusing relentlessly on getting everything ready.”
