Jet2CityBreaks has expanded its winter 2024-5 programme with the addition of Bratislava and Malmo.
Packages to Bratislava, in Slovakia, are now on sale, for travel between 18 October and 19 May 2025. These packages are on existing flights to Vienna, which is about one hour by road across the Slovakian border to Bratislava, with two flights a week from Manchester and Birmingham.
The Bratislava programme will be expanded in November and December, with flights to Vienna from Bristol East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted and Newcastle International.
Customers will be able to choose from a selection of four-star, centrally located hotels.
Christmas market getaways to Malmo in Sweden are also on sale, with packages available from 29 November to 23 December from Leeds Bradford and Newcastle International.
Customers will fly into Copenhagen, then take a direct train over the Oresund Bridge that links Denmark and Sweden, to Malmo. Two flights will operate from both airports, on Monday and Friday.
CEO Steve Heapy said city and Christmas market breaks are growing in popularity and he expects the new packages to be popular with customers and independent agents.
He said: “We are always listening and reacting to feedback from holidaymakers, and this latest expansion of our Cities and Christmas Markets programmes for this winter is just another example of that. With the addition of Malmo and Bratislava to our already huge winter programmes, customers are spoiled for choice when it comes to discovering a new city or experiencing a European Christmas market this season.”
