Jet2holidays says it’s added ‘hundreds of thousands’ of Free Child Place packages for the 2024 school holidays ahead of this weekend, which it expects to be busy for family bookings.

The operator says it now has more Free Child Place holidays than ever before.

Jet2 is gearing up for a busy weekend of family 2024 bookings, now children have gone back to school, with those that didn’t go back in the first week of the New Year returning this week.

CEO Steve Heapy said: “With the schools going back this week, we are seeing demand for family holidays increase as people get planning and booking their holidays.

“We are expecting more of this over the weekend, which is why we have put hundreds of thousands of extra Free Child Place holidays on sale, meaning we have never had so many Free Child Place holidays available, with millions up for grabs.”

Jet2 is running a ‘Prepare2Peak’ campaign, which has been developed with independent travel agents and homeworkers so that they have the knowledge, tools and incentive to drive more footfall, enquiries and sales during the Peak booking period.

The campaign includes an offer of £60 per person off all Jet2holidays booked through the trade, including those with Free Child Place offers.

Jet2holidays is also running a competition to give agents who make a booking between 1 January and 29 February the chance to win one of 100 places on a Destination Discovery.

Steve added: “We are working hard to support our valued agency partners and our advice to customers is visit your local independent travel agent now and get the best advice, best deals and best holidays.”
