Strikes by Gatwick baggage security screeners have been postponed following an improved pay offer.

Trade union Unite has temporarily called off the action by employees of ICTS while it ballots members on the offer.

The strikes were due to take place from 12 to 14 July and 19 to 21 July.

If the latest pay offer is rejected, fresh industrial action will be scheduled.

Strikes on the same dates by 200 Wilson James workers who provide special assistance services for vulnerable passengers are set to go ahead.
