Kuoni is aiming to grow sales to the Caribbean by adding holidays to Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.
The operator described it as ‘a major step forward’, adding that it was looking to broaden its range and offer more affordable options, particularly for families.
After seeing continued high demand for all-inclusives – which account for more than a third of its bookings – its new collection has been created for a variety of budgets, it said.
Included are adults-only resorts Secrets Tides Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, S Montego Bay, and the Couples resorts in Jamaica to offer ‘affordable premium’ holidays.
Also included are Beaches Jamaica, Sunscape Dominicus La Romana in the Dominican Republic and Dreams resorts in the Dominican Republic.
At the luxury end of the market, Kuoni is featuring Eden Roc Cap Cana and Casa De Campo Resort in the Dominican Republic, and Jamaica Inn and Zoetry Montego Bay in Jamaica.
Senior Regional Product Manager Jim Robertson said: “Both these destinations have huge appeal, with culture, amazing beaches, mountains and rainforest, so we know we can create stunning itineraries which appeal to couples of all ages as well as families.
“Kuoni excels at customising itineraries, creating multi-centre trips to make it easy for people to connect with the USA and the Caribbean or elevating an all-inclusive beach stay into a brilliant end-to-end experience.”
He added: “Moving forward we’ll also be hosting educationals for agents as we look to develop our overall Caribbean programme.”
Kuoni is offering up to £200 off new bookings made between 2 September and 16 September.
