Royal Caribbean will base its ship Liberty of the Seas in Southampton for summer 2026.
The ship will sail a series of two- to nine-night cruises including the Norwegian fjords, Northern Europe and a nine-night Spanish Flair and Solar Eclipse sailing on 7 August 2026.
Liberty of the Seas is one of five to be based in Europe for 2026, with Harmony of the Seas returning to Barcelona; Odyssey of the Seas from Civitavecchia (for Rome) and Explorer of the Seas sailing seven- and 14-night itineraries in the Aegean and Adriatic.
In addition, Brilliance of the Seas will sail seven-night cruises in the Greek Islands and Turkey from Piraeus (Athens), Civitavecchia, Ravenna or Barcelona.
For 2025, Independence of the Seas will be based in Southampton.
