Danielle Bates has joined Lindblad Expeditions as the specialist cruise line’s first Head of UK Sales.
Lindbland Expeditions is the global seller and operator of the National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions co-brand and is represented in the UK by its GSA, Fred. Holidays.
Danielle has spent 15 years at at Fred. Olsen Travel where she held various roles with Star Clippers, including Head of Trade Sales. Prior to that she spent a year at Peter Deilmann River & Ocean Cruises.
Danielle will manage the relationship between Fred. Holidays and Lindblad Expeditions and oversee activity aimed at increasing brand exposure and building the UK business, while growing market share for the National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions co-brand.
She will report to Fred. Holidays Director of Tour Operations Tricia Birmingham and Lindblad Expeditions Vice President of National, Strategic and International Accounts Christine Stevens.
Danielle said: “I am beyond excited to be joining Lindblad Expeditions as the National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions co-brand begins its journey in the UK market.
