Flights to and from Mauritius have resumed after a cyclone warning was lifted earlier today.
However, the Foreign Office is warning that the island will continue to be affected by Belal, which has been downgraded from a cyclone to a tropical storm.
It said visitors to Mauritius should ‘remain cautious and follow instructions from local authorities closely’.
SSR International Airport reopened at 3.15pm local time today, and passengers are being advised to contact their airlines for further information about their flights.
