The FCDO now advises against all but essential travel to parts of the State of Chiapas and the town of Taxco in Guerrero State. The FCDO no longer advises against all travel on the federal highways 80, 81 and 85 between Tampico, Ciudad de Victoria and Magueyes, and the entire area south of these highways, in the state of Tamaulipas ('Warnings and insurance' page).
