ABTA LifeLine has added an extra 10 team places for its first charity golf day, in response to demand.

Golfers of all abilities are invited to enter the event, which will be held at at Crondon Park Golf Club in Essex on 18 June.

There are now 10 additional team spaces available, with each team made up of four players.

ABTA LifeLine is encouraging people of all golfing levels – and even non-golfers – to take part. Participants will compete in the ‘Texas Scramble’ format, which allows everyone an equal chance to win, regardless of whether they’re a novice or an experienced golfer.

The charity day will include breakfast, an awards presentation, charity auction and barbecue.

Travel Gossip is the media partner for the day and will also sponsor a hole and enter two teams to the charity event.

ABTA LifeLine Director Trudie Clements said: “We have been blown away by the huge demand and support for LifeLine’s first ever golf day, and it is with great pleasure to announce further team places to allow more of our industry colleagues to get involved and help raise those all-important funds to support people in need across the sector.

“The money raised from the events goes directly into the work supporting our industry colleagues who are going through hard times. We hear time and time again from the people the charity helps that it really is a lifeline at their time of need.”

The cost to enter a team of four is £595. For more information on how to enter or for sponsorship opportunities, email trudie@abtalifeline.org.uk or cnorth@abtalifeline.org.uk
