Not Just Travel has announced it will increase the number of agents it takes on overseas trips this year by at least a third.

Last year it organised places for 600 agents and this year it plans to have more than 800 places available.

The extended programme includes an overseas training retreat in Mauritius, seminars, experiences, charity treks and two cruises.

NJT is currently hosting a five-day ‘Millionaire’s retreat’ in Fuerteventura, which is an inaugural trip for its new Elite franchisees and is included in the cost of their package.

This year’s trip to the Canary Island is running in partnership with TUI, hosted at TUI Magic Life Club.

For more experienced agents there will be three different seven-day Elite Experience training retreats, with space for up to 30 members each.

“NJT puts more investment into trips than any other company,” said co-founder Paul Harrison. “Although we garner support from operators, we continue to invest heavily in these trips because they generate the highest return on investment.

“These are not simply educational trips that you might see from other operators. We invest more in coaching and business development, in classroom time and experiences to help our consultants grow their businesses.

“Operators who have supported us have seen significant increases in sales from the hundreds of participating consultants, which is why so many want to repeat the experiences.”

Other fams being organised by NJT this year include a golf trip to Mauritius, in partnership with Beachcomber, and two Seminar at Sea five-day cruises, one from Southampton to Scandinavia on Princess Cruises Sky Princess, and the other on Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady from Barcelona, for members of the Cruise Mastery Programme.

Some agents will also join the company’s charity trek in October along Peru’s Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in aid of Pink Ribbon Foundation, which supports cancer research.
