National Holidays has urged agents to promote two-day breaks featuring the upgraded Coronation Street tour which launches next month.

From 11 June, The Coronation Street Tour will become the ITV Coronation Street Experience which will allow fans to explore a new exhibition centre to see the Roy’s Rolls and the Rovers Return sets.

Corrie fans can also see original props and costumes during the tour.

A cinema, cafe and a shop with Corrie souvenirs have also been added to the tour.

Prices for the breaks, departing on selected Saturdays in July, August and October, start from £149 per person.

Fares include return coach travel from a range of pick-up points in the north-east, Yorkshire and the Midlands, accommodation with two meals and entry to the ITV Coronation Street Experience.

National Holidays Trade Sales Manager Claire Dutton said: “Our breaks to see the Coronation Street set have always been hugely popular and now they are about to get even bigger and better than ever before.

“I am sure it will be an unforgettable experience for many to see inside Roy’s Rolls, stand behind the bar in the Rovers Return or grab a peek at Deirdre’s iconic glasses up close.

“Agents in our catchment areas should use all their marketing channels to push this out as there really has never been a better time to go.”
