Norwegian Cruise Line has cancelled three months of sailings on its ship, Norwegian Escape.

A total of eight cruises have been cancelled, between 3 January and 21 March 2025.

The cancellations include three 14-day Caribbean cruises from Galveston, Texas.

An official letter sent to passengers and travel partners and seen by Cruise Hive said: “As a result of a fleet redeployment, Norwegian Escape’s sailings from January 3, 2025, through and including March 21, 2025, have been cancelled. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

“We sincerely appreciate your understanding and, as always, are at your service.”

A spokesperson confirmed to Travel Gossip that passengers on the cancelled cruises will be refunded within 30 business days, NCL said, while anyone who booked using a Future Cruise Credit (FCC) will have the credit restored to their accounts.

The cruise line is also offering a 10% discount as an FCC for future voyages, which is valid until the end of 2025.
