Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is understood to have pulled more cruises on Norwegian Epic.

In a letter to guests and travel agents, the line said the 4,100-passenger ship would go into dry dock and be revamped which would affect departures on 15 April, 20 April and 5 May in 2025.

The line has already cancelled several sailings across its fleet in recent weeks, including Norwegian Epic’s European winter season 2023/24 and Norwegian Spirit’s entire Alaska season in 2024.

NCL added the decision to cancel more sailings on Epic was part of its commitment to offer ‘extraordinary vacation experiences around the world’ for its guests and to ‘uphold a consistent world class product’ across its fleet.

“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause,” NCL added.

The dry dock will reportedly follow the Epic-class ship’s transatlantic cruise from New York City on 31 March.

NCL confirmed all affected passengers would receive a full refund, plus a 10% discount in the form of a Future Cruise Credit (FCC) for another cruise.

Passengers can use this FCC on any sailing departing before 31 December 2025.
