Royal Air Maroc will re-launch a non-stop service between Manchester and Casablanca in Morocco in June.

The first flight will depart from Manchester on 23 June and the service will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Morocco’s national carrier first introduced flights between Manchester and Casablanca in 2017, but there has not been a non-stop service on the route for some time.

The new flights, which will operate to Casablanca’s Mohamed V airport, are already on sale. Fares start from £192 one way.

Royal Air Maroc is also launching flights from Morocco to Naples in Italy and Abuja in Nigeria this summer.

“The launch of these three new routes is part of our development plan to open air routes in several promising markets,” said Chairman and CEO Hamid Addou.

“We are also responding to strong demand in certain countries with large Moroccan communities.”
