Newmarket appoints Audrey Singh to newly created role

Newmarket Holidays has recruited travel industry veteran Audrey Singh as its first Learning and Development Manager.

In her new role, Audrey will train team members and help with their development.

Audrey will oversee the escorted tour operator’s induction process to ‘ensure new recruits get off to the best possible start’, Newmarket Holidays said.

She will report into Head of People and Culture Nikki Bail.

Audrey has previously worked at a range of agencies and operators, including TV Travel Shop, Hays Travel and Sandals Resorts, where she was a Business Development Manager for more than six years.

She joins Newmarket Holidays from UK holiday park operator Parkdean Resorts, where she worked as a Regional Talent Development Officer.

Chief People and Customer Officer Ian Dines said: “Many people in the industry are familiar with Audrey and we’re so thrilled to welcome her to Newmarket Holidays.

“Her infectious enthusiasm and passion for training and development will drive huge value for our business, customers and agent partners as we continue our ambitious growth.
