The Norwegian Cruise Line ship Norwegian Dawn has been allowed to dock at Port Louis on Mauritius after being quarantined off the country’s coast for the past two days.
Authorities gave it the all clear on Monday afternoon, after tests showed passengers who had fallen ill had been suffering from gastroenteritis.
The ship had been quarantined over concerns the illness was cholera.
Mauritius Ministry of Health Director Dr Bhooshun Ori said the passengers have now ‘fully recovered’.
NCL told Travel Gossip a statement would be issued shortly.
