Not in the Guidebooks has been acknowledged for its environmental commitments by becoming B Corp Certified.

B Corp is the most globally recognised and validated environmental certification in the world. To be certified, organisations must meet standards based on societal impact, environmental performance and transparency.

Not in the Guidebooks CEO and founder Carol Savage said: “We started Not in the Guidebooks four years ago with the ambition to make it a travel company with a difference, one that delivers the best holidays with the best experiences whilst supporting local communities, and this certification completely legitimises what we are creating for our stakeholders, including our customers and trade partners.

“Companies that are recognised globally with B Corp are organisations that don’t simply talk about sustainability but have been through a rigorous auditing process to ensure that they are taking measurable, practical steps towards the goal of protecting the planet and supporting communities.

“For our trade partners, it means that they can further rely on us to deliver fantastic sustainable holidays on their behalf.

“We will continue to keep our trade partners abreast of information around sustainable travel, helping them to easily access what’s important for them to know and helping them to see what more they can do to create a positive change in the travel industry, and also how they can support their customers looking to do their bit too.”
