Olympic Holidays has launched two new mini cruises as an expansion of its island-hopping programme.

New for this summer, the three- and four-night cruises combine the Greek islands with Turkey with Athens.

Managing Director Michael Vinales said: the operator was ‘dipping its toe’ into the cruise market as the ‘next logical step’.

“Following the successful launch and huge appetite we’re seeing for our Island-Hopping experiences, our two new cruise itineraries offer guests an alternative way to set sail and explore,” he added.

“Everything is tailormade allowing guests to set their own pace either side of the cruise.

“With bespoke itineraries to accommodate varying requests around length of stay and budget, all guests have the option to extend their stay in Athens or add on another island or two.”

The three-day cruise sails from Athens to Santorini and Mykonos, while the longer four-day cruise also takes in Rhodes. Both cruises include Cesme on Turkey’s Aegean coast before heading back to Athens.

Olympic offers a seven-night cruise-and-stay holiday from £1,415 per person based on two people travelling.
