Oliver’s Travels is offering a 5% discount to James Villas customers who’ve had their holiday cancelled after the specialist announced it is to close.
James Villas announced on Monday it will close by the end of the year and has stopped taking new bookings. Customers with bookings up until 30 November will remain unaffected, but those set to return after this date will have their trips cancelled.
Oliver’s Travels is giving customers the opportunity to rebook a similar holiday and offering a discount of 5%.
The company confirmed to Travel Gossip the discount will also apply to travel agent bookings. Commission will be calculated on the discounted price.
Oliver’s Travels has a portfolio of over 9,000 villas and chateaux to rent across the UK, Europe, and the Caribbean.
Co-Founder Oliver Bell said: “We understand that the sudden closure of James Villas has left many holidaymakers in a state of uncertainty and disappointment.
“The entire team at Oliver’s Travels really empathises with those involved as we know how important holidays are to customers. This is why we are offering a 5% discount to those impacted by the closure when they rebook with us.
“We really believe that everyone deserves an unforgettable holiday, particularly after a difficult few years, so we really want to support in any way we can.
“Our team is on hand to help with the rebooking of similar holidays to ensure that people don’t miss out. We just hope with this gesture that we can bring a little bit of that holiday magic to a stressful time.”
