Palladium Hotel Group has hired Simon McDermott as Business Development Executive, working alongside Senior Business Development Advisor Joanne Peters.
Simon has spent much of his travel industry career, which spans more than 30 years, on the road supporting agents.
Previously, he has worked at Hurtigruten, AmaWaterways, Heritage and Veranda Resorts. A-Rosa River Cruises and, most recently, JTA Travel.
In his new role, he will provide agent training and give brand updates as well as host fam trips and attend industry events across the UK and Ireland.
He replaces Kelly Fagan, who left Palladium at the end of February.
Nikki Curran will also be joining Palladium Hotel Group on a part-time basis to help with administration, event planning and agent fam trips.
