Iceland’s budget airline PLAY will offer a limited number of flights between Cardiff and Iceland’s capital Reykjavik to coincide with the school winter half-term holiday and the UEFA Nations League.
The first direct route between the two capital cities will operate from 10 October to 20 November 2024.
Tickets went on sale today and start from £59 one way. Connections onto North America are available from Reykjavik, starting from £179, one way.
Flights between Cardiff and Reykjavik will operate twice weekly for the six-week duration.
