Playa Hotels & Resorts has simplified its agent rewards programme to make it easier for members to earn benefits from every booking.
Under the new system, effective from 22 August, agents will earn fewer points for each booking at Playa Hotels & Resorts Caribbean collection, but the number of points needed to earn free stays has also been reduced.
For example, previously an agent would earn a minimum of 30 points per room per night but needed 700 points for a free stay; now they will earn a minimum of two points per room per night but only need at least 35 points for a free stay.
UK, Ireland and Spain Marketing Manager Nicola Francis said: “We are committed to ensuring agents can benefit from the Playa bookings they make in a way that is meaningful to them.
“Following direct agent feedback, we have taken the step to simplify Playa Rewards, giving agents the opportunity to earn more from the bookings they log. Our lowered points system means agents will reap significant benefits quickly, with fewer bookings needed for free night stays.”
