PONANT has partnered with Australian pearling company Paspaley to launch a 30-passenger expedition yacht in Australia and Indonesia.
Paspaley Pearl will launch in January 2025, after a refit that will include balcony cabins, lounges and an eight-person jacuzzi. The yacht will sail year-round trips to Australia’s Kimberley region, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
PONANT says it will offer guests ‘personalised and expert-led voyages’, with four naturalist guides part of the 21 crew members.
Cruises will also include routes travelled by Paspaley’s founder Nicholas Paspaley and his crew in the 1970s.
The inaugural 10-night sailing departs on 10 January 2025 from Dili in Timor Leste to Bali.
