Regent Seven Seas Cruises has launched a selection of ‘Concierge Collection’ cruise and stay itineraries with its partner, Global Hotel Alliance (GHA).

The cruise line and GHA will be offering three-night pre-cruise stays at six of GHA’s hotels in Rome, Istanbul, Venice, Athens, London and Amsterdam and twinning them with 12 cruise itineraries in 2025.

The ships featured include Grandeur, Splendor, Navigator, Voyager and Mariner.

Hotels featured in the programme include the Anantara Palazzo Naiadi in Rome, Ciragan Palace Kempinski in Istanbul, Conservatorium in Amsterdam, San Clemente Palace Kempinski in Venice, Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso in Athens and the Hotel Café Royal in London.

Each hotel stay will include a private cocktail reception, dinner and an exclusive excursion such as a sunset tour of the Temple of Poseidon in Athens or a behind-the-scenes tour of Vatican City.

Announcing the new collection at the Hotel Café Royal in London today (3 July), Regent’s Managing Director, International Caroline Smith said: “We deliberately picked these destinations in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe that will appeal to both Regent and GHA customers.”

Caroline confirmed the packages will be available to the trade and Regent has created a training webinar for agents to use.

She said: “I think it’s a great marketing tool for the trade. They really are exceptional value with the hotel and cruise combined, making it easy for the trade to sell to clients.”

A year ago Regent and GHA formed a partnership giving its passengers the chance to become members of the customer loyalty programme, GHA Discovery. Members earn Discovery Dollars (D$) each time they book one of the GHA partner’s hotels.

GHA Discovery members who book a Regent cruise will also be fast-tracked to GHA Discovery’s top-tier status, Titanium, given up to D$2,500, as well as chocolate and champagne in the suite.

Caroline added: “The partnership has been really successful and exceeded all expectations. We are talking to land-based loyalists who have never cruised and what we can do with the GHA partnership is really educate a whole new audience to cruise.”

The GHA programme features 800 hotels, resorts and palaces operated by 40 hotel brands in 100 countries and currently has 27 million customer members.
