Luxury line Regent Seven Seas Cruises is investing in its support for UK agents with a new travel partner programme and the creation of a business development team.

The cruise line is currently recruiting for a member staff to join the new team, which will be led by Director of Strategic Accounts & Business Development UK & Middle East Ed Lang.

The team will report to Vice President of Sales UK Paul Beale.

Paul also announced a new online, three-level travel partner training programme, called RSSC University. Agents can achieve Batchelor, Masters or Associate status, depending on how many levels they complete.

Paul said: “We are delighted to introduce our new RSSC University to our valued travel partners. This brand-new online tool marks another milestone in Regent’s commitment to providing more training, support and incentives.”

A new partner programme, Regent Elevate, has also been announced, which will give agents ‘access to marketing insights, unrivalled sales support, and growth-enhancing opportunities’, according to Managing Director International Caroline Smith.

She said: “Our travel partners are integral to our success at Regent, so our priority is to ensure they have all the tools and skills they need to succeed.”

Regent Elevate’s Elevated Insights programme will provide training, market research and data to help agents target Regent guests, as well as marketing tools.
