The Expedition Cruise Network (ECN) has opened registration for its first two intensive training events, ECN Bootcamps.
The bootcamps will be hosted in the Silversea office in London on 17 July 2024 and Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours in Manchester on 18 July 2024.
Each bootcamp will be open to 12 travel advisors to attend a day of intense Antarctic training. They will hear from five expedition cruise operators, who will share knowledge and selling skills.
ECN CEO and co-founder Akvile Marozaite said: “Although Antarctica has become highly sought after, it is still one of the last true wildernesses on earth and a tremendously fragile environment.
“Visiting is a privilege. Our new bespoke face-to-face training days will provide delegates with a deep understanding of the destination, insights into key considerations when recommending expedition cruises and help travel advisors sell Antarctica responsibly.
“The bootcamps are the first of its kind and are intended to be intense training events where travel trade professionals can come together to learn about expedition cruising from ECN’s signature training courses and expedition cruise suppliers.”
ECN has also launched a free Antartica selling guide.
