Riviera Travel will host its first agent awards ceremony in 2025 to recognise the success of its retail, homeworkers and online travel agent partners.
Categories will include Best Newcomer, Best Cruise Agent, Best Homeworker, Best Long-Haul and Best European Tour Trade Partner.
Winners will be chosen by the senior Riviera trade team, based on performances and results in 2024.
An afternoon awards ceremony will take place at The Lookout, 8 Bishopsgate, London, on 10 April.
Head of Trade and Partnerships UK & Ireland Vicky Billing said: Our trade partners are the lifeblood of what we do, going above and beyond to promote our products and boost awareness about Riviera.
“Their tireless work has been crucial in the growth of the business and now it’s our time to give back and show how much we appreciate their support. We cannot wait to celebrate the talent and achievements of our wonderful agents next April.”
Riviera Travel’s trade bookings have increased 35% year-on-year, with a 51% increase in river cruises and a 66% increase for dedicated solo departures across both its cruise and escorted touring product.
The operator has also launched ‘Riviera Explorer’, a new e-learning platform to help travel agents improve their brand knowledge.
