Riviera Travel has released the inaugural itinerary programmes for its two new-build river ships that will join the fleet in 2025.

The 178-passenger Riviera Radiance, which launches in March 2025, will operate six different voyages on the Danube, while 114-capacity Riviera Rose (pictured), due to launch in April next year, will operate on the Douro.

Among itineraries on Riviera Radiance are an eight-day Blue Danube cruise, visiting Vienna, Dürnstein, Budapest and Bratislava, with prices from £1,849 per person. There will also be dedicated Blue Danube cruises for solo travellers, from £2,599pp.

Riviera Rose will operate an eight-day ‘Highlights of the Douro Valley & Salamanca’ cruise, featuring tours of Porto’s old town, Mateus Palace and Castelo Rodrigo, as well as port tastings and a stop in Salamanca. Prices start from £2,099pp.

Itineraries go on sale on 29 February and there are early offers of up to £300 per person on select itineraries when booked before 28 March.
