Riviera Travel has appointed Amanda Docherty as Key Account Manager for homeworkers.

It marks the first time the operator has had a role dedicated solely to homeworkers.

Amanda will take up the position on 8 April and focus on supporting the river cruise and escorted tour specialist’s remote-working travel agent partners.

She will report to Head of Trade and Partnerships Vicky Billing.

Amanda joins from TUI where she was Account Implementation Manager, Tourist Boards & Partnerships. She has previously held roles with Carnival UK and Celebrity Cruises.

The appointment is the latest addition to the Riviera trade team this year, after Chris McCloskey and Lloyd Morris respectively joined as Key Account Manager for Scotland and Ireland and Key Account Manager for UK and Ireland.

Vicky said: “We are thrilled that Amanda is joining us in this new role. We understand that homeworkers require a more tailored approach in terms of support and believe this step will ensure they have all they need to learn more about Riviera and drive sales.”
