Riviera unveils first trade-dedicated contact centre

Riviera Travel has set up a four-strong team to deal exclusively with travel agent enquiries and bookings.

The team will operate from Riviera’s head office in Burton-on-Trent.

It will be available Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 5pm.

Agent enquiries can be handled on Sundays from 10am till 4pm via Riviera’s existing channels.

The team, hired internally, comprises Matt Anthony, Beverley Darmanin, Diane Ibson and Elizabeth Monk.

They will report to Sales Team Manager Amy Joy.

Head of Trade Thomas Morgan said: “Agents are central to the success of Riviera and our dedicated trade-friendly team will help further strengthen communications.

“We want frontline agents to be able to build relationships with them, and easily and effectively get in touch whenever they have a related question or booking enquiry.”

He added: “We are absolutely committed to working alongside agents for the long term, and this is another example of the partnership approach in action.”
