Royal Caribbean is to open another private beach club for cruise guests, this time in Cozumel, Mexico.

The Royal Beach Club Cozumel, which will open in 2026, will be the ‘ultimate beach day in Mexico’, the cruise line said.

President and CEO Michael Bayley said: “Cozumel is an incredible destination, and the beach club will perfectly complement all the island has to offer as an experience that combines familiar Royal Caribbean touches with the spirit of Mexico, alongside amenities and activities for every type of vacationer.”

Royal Caribbean Group President and CEO Jason Liberty said: “We are delighted to build on our longstanding partnership with the local community and government to continue bringing our guests to Mexico.

“The expansion of our destination offerings aligns with the growing global demand for the ultimate vacation experiences and enables our guests to connect with the beauty of local cultures and people in the places they visit.”

The new beach club, in Quintana Roo, is the latest in Royal Caribbean’s list of private destinations, which includes Perfect Day at CocoCay, the Bahamas – which has recently opened the adults-only Hideaway Beach – and Labadee on Haiti.

In addition, the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in The Bahamas, a 17-acre resort on Nassau’s Paradise Island, will open in 2025.
