Ryanair has warned passengers they face delays of up to two hours at Gatwick today.

The airline issued the apology on its website and on social media, saying the delays have again been caused by NATS Air Travel Control staff shortages.

“Ryanair regrets to advise we are expecting up to two hour delays on flights to and from Gatwick today,” it said on its website.

CEO Michael O’Leary again called on NATS boss Martin Rolf to quit.

He said: “It is unacceptable that passengers continue to face disruption due to the mismanagement of NATS.”

The latest delays follow disruption at the weekend caused by an ATC outage at Gatwick.
