Sail Croatia has added a new ‘Heritage’ cruise for the summer with a focus on visiting UNESCO protected-sites.

The operator has said the seven-night cruise, which sails round trip from Split, will call in five of Croatia’s UNESCO protected sites, as well as national parks and other historical spots.

Highlights of the itinerary include calls in Trogir, Šibenik, Zadar, Krka National Park and Vis.

The new itinerary will operate on 26 May, 9 June and 1 September on one of Sail Croatia’s ‘Elegance’ ships.

Managing Director Grant Seuran said: “The seven night ‘Heritage’ cruise is ideal for agents who have clients interested in history, culture and the natural world, but who also want some downtime. Guests spend the mornings relaxing on their luxury ship, before heading onto land to explore in the afternoon and evening. We expect this itinerary to be particularly popular with guests who have already sampled our other ‘Elegance’ itineraries.”
