Scenic is inviting 50 travel agents onboard its yacht Scenic Eclipse during its summer season in the UK and Ireland.
Agents will be given ship tours and lunch onboard when Eclipse is in the Isle of Man, Dublin, Portrush and Aberdeen.
Director of Sales, Partnerships and Strategic Growth Nick Hughes, who joined 14 weeks ago, said: “Scenic Eclipse has to be personally experienced to appreciate just how ultra-luxury she is, which is why we are sending only personal invites to partners for the most sought-after invites in the sector.”
Scenic is also hosting three fam trips across Scenic and Emerald Cruises’ European river ships this year. “We recognise that trade sales are a key strategic focus of the business, and agents are central to this,” added Nick.
“We are looking to continue the trend of strong bookings and increased brand awareness that we saw in Q1 and Q2 off the back of Scenic Eclipse featuring in ‘Cruising with Susan Calman’ on Channel 5. To support agents, we have a suite of training and agent webinars to equip them with the necessary tools to sell this ultra-luxury product.”
