Seabourn has released a new itinerary for its 90-day Grand Africa Voyage later this year which avoids the Red Sea.

Seabourn Sojourn will still sail roundtrip from Barcelona departing on 30 November and the new itinerary includes visits to 42 destinations and cities in 20 countries, with seven overnight stays.

However, it will no longer call at Kenya, Egypt, Israel, Oman, Tunisia or Malta.

Instead, it will visit Cape Verde, Cape Town, Gambia, Madagasca, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Sao Tome, the Seychelles, and Principe and Zanzibar.

On sale now, the full revised itinerary and additional details are available on Seabourn’s website.

“I am so delighted for our guests, as I feel our deployment team did an amazing job crafting this modified Grand Africa Voyage that provides ample opportunities for our guests to discover Africa’s stunning natural wonders and diverse cultures,” said President Natalya Leahy.
