Sir Stephen Hillier has had his Chairmanship of the Civil Aviation Authority extended for another four years.
Sir Stephen, who joined in 2020, will continue to chair the authority until 31 July 2028.
His priorities will be to focus on the CAA’s regulatory role to protect passengers and ensure the UK retains its position as a world leader in aerospace.
Sir Stephen said: “I look forward to continuing our work focusing on safety, security, and consumer interests as we protect people and enable the development of aerospace.”
