St Kitts Tourism Authority is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the country’s independence with fam trips, training events and coffee mornings.

The authority will run three fam trips in July, October and November after hosting two others in April and May.

In total, 40 agents will take part in the fam trips.

There will also be a Lunch and Learn programme to support homeworkers, monthly coffee mornings and tailor-made training sessions, both virtual and in-person.

Agents can also earn £50 through the authority’s trade reward programme – stkittsrewards.com – every time they make a St Kitts booking.

CEO Ellison Thompson said: “2023 is a special year for us, as St Kitts & Nevis celebrates 40 years of independence and we wanted to do something big with our UK travel trade partners to mark the milestone.

“Having as many as 40 trade partners out to experience our unique tourism product in one year is unprecedented, but we have arranged the fams into five small groups with visits spread out across the year and tailored itineraries to ensure our partners get the most out of their visits.”
