A worker at Stansted airport has been fired after writing a message with the c-word on a baby’s suitcase.
The baby’s father complained to Ryanair after he saw the words “C**t stop checking in late” scrawled on his seven-month-old son’s checked-in bag after a flight to Cyprus.
He told The Sun the family had checked in 90 minutes before departure and staff at the desk hadn’t mentioned they were late.
Stansted’s baggage-handling contractor ABM Blue Handling told the newspaper: “This unacceptable incident was reported by our own team on the day, immediately investigated and following conclusive evidence, the individual involved has been dismissed.”
It said the airport had apologised to the passenger.
