The Gambia Experience has celebrated its first flight of the 2024-25 season, with a charter from Gatwick last week.
The operator has chartered a weekly flight with Enter Air until the end of October, which will be replaced from 1 November with Titan Airways flights twice a week until the end of April 2025.
Between 16 December 2024 and February 2025, Titan Airways will fly three times a week from Gatwick, on Tuesday, Friday and Monday.
In addition, The Gambia Experience will charter Manchester flights twice a week, on Wednesday and Sunday departures between November 2024 and April 2025.
The inaugural 2024 flight was met on arrival at Banjul International Airport by The Gambia Experience resort team, British High Commissioner Harriet King and a local dance troupe.
Product Manager Karen Durham said: “Our goal is to make every aspect of our customers’ trip special, starting from the moment they arrive.
“This welcome event is just a small example of the unique cultural experiences that can be enjoyed through our holiday packages.”
Seven nights in a beachfront hotel starts from £649 per person.
