Blue Bay’s homeworking agency, The Personal Travel Consultants, has launched a panel to represent its 55 self-employed agents.
The panel, which was unveiled during the group’s annual conference in Mallorca in October, will consist of three travel agents and three members of the Business Development Executive team.
They will be joined by four to six managers from the various Blue Bay Travel departments at each meeting.
PTCs Jaclyn Keighley and Carly Cockburn have already been voted onto the panel for a 12-month term, after agents were asked to put their names forward. The third agent on the panel is Kerry Jones, a PTC mentor.
The panel will meet once a quarter, mainly online, to discuss new ideas and to share best practices and feedback from the wider PTC community. At least one meeting a year will take place in person.
PTC Group Manager Abbie Heaton said: “We’re thrilled to have launched our first ‘PTCs Panel’ and the conference provided the perfect platform to unveil it to our PTCs and congratulate those who had been voted onto the panel.
“The agent panellists will be the voice of their fellow PTCs, gathering valuable feedback via phone calls and emails, to share during the quarterly panel meetings.”
