Travel Business Development Manager Duties:
- Establish and develop positive relationships with all travel retail partners in the area.
- Educate, train and service the needs of key trade accounts.
- Support accounts by attending trade events including overseas conferences.
- Maintain a close working relationship with the trade office team, and include them in your plans so that they can provide support with sales calls, training, road shows and consumer events
- Host FAM trips and entertain key accounts, whilst ensuring there is appropriate follow up to maximise all available sales opportunities
- Engender a positive relationship with the trade team with constant inclusion / liaison over your accounts.
- Play a proactive role in shaping retail PR messaging by working in conjunction with our PR consultants and trade marketing teams.
- Provide input and creative contribution to all marketing strategies and media including Facebook.

- Experience within business development in the leisure travel industry is essential within a similar role.
