Travel Gossip has expanded, with new appointments in its editorial and partnerships teams.
Kelly Ranson (pictured, left) has joined Travel Gossip News as Senior Reporter, while Tanya Baughan (pictured, right) joins the partnership team as Senior Account Manager in mid-January.
Kelly is well-known in the travel industry and has held a number of roles over a near 20-year career, including three years as Editor of Cruise Critic UK. For the past seven years she has worked on freelance projects.
Tanya has a background in both publishing and travel sales. She joins from a B2B media company, William Reed Business Media, where she was an Account Manager and, before that, was Advertising Manager at Sayers Publishing Group.
She’s also spent seven years in sales at Virgin Holidays, including Key Accounts Supervisor.
She will join Travel Gossip on 19 January, reporting to Head of Partnerships Jessica Simpson.
In addition, Linsey McNeill and Lisa James, who launched Travel Gossip News with Travel Gossip Managing Director Bruce Martin in April 2021, have joined as full-time Co-Editors from today (2 January). Until now they have worked with Travel Gossip as part-time freelancers.
Bruce said: “ I am thrilled to announce the expansion of our Travel Gossip team with the addition of two dynamic professionals, Kelly and Tanya, who bring a wealth of expertise and energy to our company.
“Their arrival marks a significant step in our journey as we continue to grow and innovate in 2024.
