Travel Gossip is elevating its roadshow experience next year with the introduction of 55-inch HD TVs for supplier presentations.
Suppliers will be able to plug in their laptop or USB to display information, photos and videos on the screen, to enhance the experience for their travel agent audience.
The plasma screens are being provided by Flexi Reps and there is no extra cost to suppliers.
Travel Gossip Events Director Amanda Mogey said the screens will be introduced next year, following positive feedback from agents and suppliers at a recent pilot roadshow in Warwick.
Amanda said: “This is a significant investment by Travel Gossip to take the roadshows to another level, delivering a high-quality learning experience for agents, which is not being passed on to clients next year.”
Flexi Reps Managing Director Craig Davidson said: “Flexi Reps will supply Travel Gossip events with AV hardware and set up for suppliers to really bring their presentations to life and present their products to the travel agent audience in the best way possible – enhancing the learning experience at each event. The introduction of the HD TVs means suppliers will be able to switch from a laptop presentation to a 55-inch screen to show their products and videos.
“Using a 55-inch LED screen for a presentation can help the visual appeal, with a larger screen area getting better engagement over a laptop, enhancing the effectiveness and making it a more memorable experience for the travel agent audience.”
The 2024 Travel Gossip Roadshows welcomed more 1,500 agents and 125 unique suppliers at a total of 46 locations. When asked to rate the events, 97% of agents said they were ‘excellent’ or ‘very good’.
The 2025 roadshows start in February. Click here for details of next year’s events.
